HOLIDAY PARTY
Each year, Waves 4 K.I. D.S. brings holiday magic to children and their families that are involved in Brunswick County Foster Care and children in difficult situations.
Our annual party held in December of each year is a memorable holiday event for the children. A visit from Santa, making crafts, playing games or a day filled with new ways to enjoy a day out.
The 2021 Holiday Party
The 2021 Holiday party was a special and we again hosted the children and their families at the Barn at Rock Creek in Leland. The facility includes a large outdoor area where we provided many activities. There were horse back and pony rides with attendants for each. The hay ride was something the entire family could enjoy together. And the bouncy house, was again a big hit.

In the pavilion there was face painting, cookie making, various games and Santa Claus sitting by the fireplace.

In the indoor building there the always popular pizza lunch with assorted drinks and desserts

In total we had over 130 attendees. Comments from parents and overheard by volunteers were "the kids had great time and were smiling from ear to ear" and "my grandkids played so hard that when they got in car they fell right asleep".
​
The look on the kids faces as they were having such a good time was priceless and without the financial support from donors in the community, WAVES 4 K.I.D.S. could not have hosted such an incredible party.
